The development of eco-friendly materials to prevent pollution from oils and hydrocarbons is an interesting front to make infrastructures sustainable and reduce risks and environmental impact in case of accidental spills of diathermic oil in thermoregulation units. Developed by the Italian startup T1 Solutions, FoamFlex is in this perspective an innovative sponge made with an eco-friendly polymer with high absorption capacity and compatible with all types of oil, hydrocarbons and dielectric fluids used in the cooling of data centers and transformers, which can be easily squeezed and reused up to 200 times at constant performance. Drastically reducing operating and waste disposal costs and the carbon footprint of plants and infrastructures.
