Speaking of carbon footprint reduction, in the refrigeration and air conditioning applications sector, a great contribution to the green transition of the sector comes from the use of CO2 as a natural refrigerant, a renewable source with a high heat transfer efficiency rate. Green CO2 applications therefore open up new interesting application areas for special brazed heat exchangers, made with a special brazing cycle that allows them to operate at the high operating pressures required, up to 140 bar.
